You are not SAFE until I am SAFE is a series of posters designed to raise awareness for endangered African grey parrot conservation in the Kakamega forest, Kenya’s only tropical rainforest. Community sensitisation meetings, alongside strategic placement of these informative posters, aims to complement the government’s efforts to protect this critical habitat from human impact.
Evans, who holds a degree in social science from Maasai Mara University, has been driven by a passion for wildlife since childhood. Guided by the famous quote from Nelson Mandela that education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world Evans has collaborated with The Pollination Project (TPP), a global grant making organisation, to distribute bicycles to vulnerable girls. He also works for TPP as a grant advisor in the Animal Rights and Welfare docket.
