The Art of Deliberation: The Climate-Nature Emergency Hub for the Climate-Ecology Blueprint (WIP) - cofounded with anthropologist and activist, Dr Jasmin Immonen - is an interactive exhibition to engage the public in the synergistic climate-nature aims of the ‘Blueprint', a potential piece of Global North legislation to address climate and ecological injustice. At a series of creative workshops, participants will be invited to learn about the 'Blueprint'‘s legislative aims through illustrative art and the written word, they will then contribute their own ideas which Nessy and Jasmin will translate into a single body of work.
Nessy became involved in climate and ecology activism and in 2020 and was one of the original members who founded the UK Climate and Ecology Private Member’s Bill ‘Zero Hour’ campaign. Inspired by this work to conceive the Climate-Ecology Emergency Blueprint Nessy collaborated with Dr Jasmin Immonen to create of the Climate-Nature Blueprint Hub.
