Artist Bio
Tamara Venn is best known for her botanical wall murals and her colourful, impactful paintings of animals. Originally from London and having studied at Central St Martin’s College of Art & Design, her work can be seen around Cambodia and the UK. The brilliance and fragility of nature in an increasingly developed environment is the subject that runs throughout her work. Each work celebrates the beauty of the natural world as illustrated by her mission statement - “If we take care of the natural world now, we will not be left with only painted reminders of what was once here.” - Tamara Venn.
Why choose this print?
100% of the profits from the sale of this print go to Wildlife Asia’s critical conservation activities in Southeast Asia which include ranger patrols to monitor threats to big cats (including combatting poaching, disabling snares and removing poison bait), camera trap remote surveillance and monitoring, wildlife crime investigations, and support for indigenous communities. Wildlife Asia also works to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for communities living in big cat landscapes.
